Can't throw items with super strength

In OB, once an item was lifted with strength, double clicking on a target let me throw it at a target. This time around, I seem to be able to only smash the target with the item until it explodes or choose a different item to pick up which causes the item to be thrown in a straight line. Is there a keybind for throwing? I didn't see one in the Options Menu. I submitted this on a ticket, but wondered if anyone else has had the problem and perhaps i was overlooking something obvious.

    Try pressing 'Z' while targetting a baddy. Assuming you're using the CO keybind set.

    Yup, they removed the double click to throw ability. Click 1 to smash with in melee style, Z to throw it. Not sure why they did this, double clicking was a lot easier.
