Forum wipe? Nice way to hide complaints...

Has there been a forum wipe since the 'emergency maintenance' earlier?

There are a lot of missing threads here that I can't see any more - including the 60+ page thread of people having FPS issues.

This isn't on. It's been a problem since Closed Beta, still ongoing in Open Beta...there's a slight improvement in Early Access but it's still disgraceful performance - and now the thread has disappeared?

This cannot go ignored any more........
Whether you have made new stickies or not, I can't see why you would remove the old thread(s) - other than to hide these from new players/customers joining for Early Access.
Threads like that should not be removed until the issue is fixed.

    That thread had nearly 25,000 views last time i checked it, and it wanished alright, nice coverup there.

    I posted a thread showing the minimum system requirements from the Faq page, then listed what I have, clearly showing not only do I have what the game needs to work but even better than the recommended specs.....

    I come back on a few hours later to find it wiped from this section of the forum. Way to treat a long time Cryptic Studios fan...not to mention THE ONLY REASON I HAVE A PC was after reading about City Of Heroes when it was first mentioned. Here I am ready to try out another Fantastic Hero-based MMO from these guys and a crappy D3D Error is keeping me from getting past pressing 'Play'

    They cleared out almost the entire Tech Issues board (maybe the whole thing). There were only maybe 2 pages earlier today when I checked.

    It's a conspiracy!

    I think they wiped it because many of those issues are from the beta build, and Cryptic doesn't want their new community to thumb through threads that may hold largely irrelevant data. If you still have the same problems you did in beta, make a new thread about it.

    But there was an announcement by one of the mods that if you have the client installed from OB, then you're good to go for the Headstart!

    Forums get wiped frequently during tests. (I've been in roughly 30.) Sometimes they wipe every phase / session. Sometimes they stick around for a while. What with recently going from closed to pre-order to whatever it wouldn't surprise me that there have been, and will be, wipes. You can expect a few more prior to launch.
