Direct2Drive Key: I can't figure out how to get one, can you?

First, I'd like to ask if anyone who did a Digital distribtution on Direct2Drive is in playing, so please respond to this thread if you somehow figured out a way to get a key.

I was in the beta, but now have no way of getting into the headstart (with no retail key, only a beta key that says it's currently in use.)

Rather than yell at Cryptic (who as it seems is understaffed, short by a few producers) can anyone provide some constructive help on how us Direct2Drive customers can actually get into the game?

Has anyone had any luck with D2D support?

According to Cryptic D2D customers don't get headstart. The dev team stopped posting on this about 2 hours ago... much to the chagrin of all of the pre-orders that bought through D2D

You have got to be kidding me. A little communication around this earlier might have been nice.
