Crash as soon as I move mouse or press key on keyboard

So basically my problem here is for some reason when I open up the game I crash as soon as move my mouse or press a key on my keyboard during the loading, or I crash 5 seconds after the control scheme windows appears.

This is quite problematic.

    I am having the same issue. It says the client has an error after I log in, but no file verifing will fix it.
    Once it loads up and asks me what keyboard layout I want, and I move my mouse, or click a button it crashes.

    Having the same problem myself. Game ran OK during Beta. It even logged in yestarday OK, but now crashes on loading screen or game select screen of Champions, Fantasy or Paragon.

    Tried rebooting PC, scanning files, and now uninstalled game, and reinstalling it from client on official website. Though maybe the files were messed up as had preview version, fileplanet version and the live update on it.

    Got it working.
    I renamed my Champions online folder. (Thus moving it, and backing up the old files.)
    Re-opened my beta game installer .zip. Re-installed it, re-patched it. Now I can get in to the character creator finally.
    Now it doesnt see my old character costumes though. Gotta find out where those are heh.

    It worked for me once. Now I'm back to square one. After a dozen restarts it keeps on crashing after login.
    My room mate has almost an identical system to mine (I built them both) and is playing the game with out any hiccups for hours now.
    We are on the same connect through a router. We both played in beta for days before now without a single problem.

    Try disabling xfire if you have that running. Seems to have worked for a friend of mine.

    I've had X-Fire on auto start for ages now.
    I turned it off before starting Champions.
    The game has started up without any error message, patch checked correctly, and speedily,
    loaded up fine, and I've gone through the character creator three consecutive times without fail.
