cant log in to the game...

i cant log in to the game...
in the launcher it says:"No shards found.." and it shows me that the server is down.
i saw that i can play on friday 10am and now its 12 PM...

is there anyone who have the same problem?

    Yes I am playing from the UK, apparently there is a problem with my code not going on my account or somesuch.

    it also says i have a ticket with permission pairs, but no shards were found. There is nothing joyful or good in the world!

    they addressed this before the fourm went down.

    The only places that you get the Head Start from are Best Buy and Gamestop. all others do not.

    Yeah... me and my friends on Ventrilo all have been discussing the login problem over the last 3 hours we have been waiting, patiently. I don't think I would be as annoyed if Cryptic would at least post something acknowledging login problems rather than silence. You know there is an issue... why not tell us you are "Aware of a problem and working on a fix"?

    My friend and I both ordered from Direct2Drive. I am sitting here watching him play. I am not sure if its just a mishap that hes in or not but I am getting the same error as everyone else.

    Perfect! I bought the game from gamestop! so my game must be working! whoopee! Now let me make my character! Wait!?! What?! It still doesn't work?!? But he said . . . oh . . he doesn't know what he is talking about . . . sigh . ..

    i couldnt get past account login, uninstalled thinking it might be my ****** installation, now I cant reinstall cause launcher is hanging when trying to update.

    Actually it looks like all Amazon orders except US get into early access. That's silly.

    this is bs... the open beta worked fine... they messed everything up for early start. EPIC FAIL CRYPTIC!

    it's not the first report of people that bought from D2D being able to play. That could be just a lie of course but...

    Right now it just look like a random generic error message that don't say much at all. Mix that with (false?) reports of people that bought from D2D and currently playing and it's a bit messy I must say.

    I preordered from gamestop and I got an email stating that "3. If you participated in any phase of beta, simply patch your client to the latest version and you’re ready to go!" but when I try to download the patch it says
    "No shards found: You have a ticket with 1 permission pairs. but no shards were found."

    So being that i preordered mine from game station which specifically stated on CRYPTICS website allowed early start, and you are saying PHaroh wizard that they do not in fact allow access to the early start what should i do now?

    Different version of open beta first day. Try tomorrow. Their turnaround is usually a day on this stuff.

    I wish I were lying, but he is sitting here in game playing, I am not. We both ordered from D2D the same week, no special promotions, nothing. I am aggravated that hes in and Im not :mad:

    i ordered from Play.com , i even received an email from those guys ,

    Quote :"Thank you for pre-ordering Champions Online from Play.com.

    Please find your Game Headstart and In-Game Item code below.

    The 'Game Headstart' is due to start on 28/08/2009, using the code before this date may invalidate your code. The 'In-Game Item' is due to be activated on 04/09/2009 and upon activation the item should appear in your game inventory.

    All i seem to get is "server not responding" then after a short delay it logs me in, but does nothing, like theres way too much lag, and a few more occasional messages "server not responding". I'm in the UK, all was well yesterday, so whatever they have done since then has f****d it up big time.
    Got to be the worst game launch i've ever encountered. i've played a lot of bugged games, but at least they were playable.

    Weird then. Possible they mixed up some keys? Gave some head start keys to D2D by error? Who knows...
