I know it was supposed to start at 10:00AM PDT. It's now 1:04PM PDT and I still get "no shards found". No news about this posted on the news site. Any word about what is going on and when we will be able to start our early access? Thanks.
Apparently if you didn't pre-order off of a list of websites that cryptic let offer the 3 day head start your out of luck. Which is retarded, I downloaded mine from direct to drive and the key they game me is apparently only for the open beta, not the 3 day head start... Every person that pr-eordered should have gotten the 3 day head start, I had no idea I had to get it from gamespot to get the 3 day head start. Classy Cryptic...

That sucks bad, Cryptic was so late in responding to my issue with downloading the software that I missed out on the beta.
im a d2d downloader, i know i don't get a head start, but will that make the server say its down or should it say "sorry loser you cant play till monday" but the server light would still show as green and on? and not red and offline?
Yeah, I just keep getting the patcher error, and can't seem to get past it. Sooooo... I'm just playing the waiting game and trying to be as patient as possible.
I also downloadet the Game on D2D - and was sure i would be on the headstart....
This sucks hard @Cryptic - i payed the same Money than other people and feel betrayed!
My answer will be: i will play DC Universe Online when it comes out, and leave CO then!
I will not forget this day....
But what "if" DC do the same trick?... Yeah, I ordered from D2D as well. Saw the news on my RSS reader that it was on preorder on D2D, went there and haven't seen "D2D doesn't have early start" so I ordered... No need to hit the Champions Online website, the announcement was right there in my face.
Now should we blame D2D for not specify that early start wasn't included? Or Cryptic for having a different deal than pretty much the majority of MMOs that will give you head start if you preorder from any dealer?
Easy to say that it was written on the website of Champions Online. Fact is you didn't need to go to the Champions Online website to read about D2D offering preorder... Since there was no mention in the line of "you won't get early start" why should we assume that Cryptic decided it was going to be different from other games?
Of course it's just 3 days. But from the number of people posting about it, I'm guessing it would have been one less problem to give early start to everyone. But the people answering our complaints are surely not those who made the deal with D2D...

For me it's simple: i blame Cryptic. They have just to take care, that everybody who preorders the Game has the same rights.
I only preordered the game on D2D because of the headstart. I thought, it would be absolutly logical, that i will be one of these players...
I don't think, that DC Universe online will do the same bullsh..., because i think, what cryptic did today, is absolutly unique....
For example: i also preordered Aion and i have certainly access to the headstart of this game. I still can't believe what happened today. It's just unbelievable.

That's a let down, I wont be able to play until next Friday after this weekend.
Oh well, I guess I can play TF2.
