Looking For The Right Super Team

Archived PostArchived Post Posts: 1,156,071 Arc User
Hello, folks!

I just completed my sixth month subscription sign up and I'm very excited to play this Friday.
I am looking around for a Super Team that will fit my needs and I can see that there are already alot of good choices out there but I'm having a hard time deciding!

More than anything I am looking for a super team that uses ventrilo or teamspeak. I have gotten to use to the ease of gameplay that those programs bring. If possible I'd like to be in a roleplaying guild as well but good roleplaying Super Teams with vent are hard to come by. :(

I will most likely bring along my real life friends who are definately going to put alot of time into this game. My buddy Mysticwarmage purchased the life time subscription last night!

I have a few characters that I'm going to play when the game releases that I tried out in open beta.
Green Revenant- Back from the dead; he seeks to rid the world of evil!
Auric Avenger- Super fast and a down to earth speedster.
Gelidus- Enraged when his family was killed by a secret evil government faction he sought
revenge but was captured. When the faction fell he was released and seeks to
right the wrongs he commited.

I'm looking forward to joining a great Team and fighting for justice! If anyone is interested in having me as part of their team please send me a message and a link to your webpage (if you have one). I look forward to seeing you all in game!

I went and checked out the link you posted. I like the idea of Mega Force but I'm not sure just yet if I would be able to run a community event with college, a family, and work on my plate.

I will definitely keep in touch with you though because if nothing else it couldn't hurt to have an ally!

Hello there, you could come check out The Spartans if you are interested.

We are a historic group of fighters that believe in having fun in PVE and PVP.

We are a very loosely formed role playing group thats more interested in having a good time then having to stick to role playing guidelines.

Since we are Spartans from the Past, Present and Future its possible to be any kind of hero that you want to be.

We have members from teens to seniors, from singles people to couples, from students to non students who live in all different time zones from around the world.

We have our own website with forums and some type of teamspeak lined up for our members are interested in using it.

We also have been on the front page of the Superteam Section for months now so we are very easy to find.

Give MEGAFORCE a shot, like Dinah said. We have a good number of players, and we are all understanding of real life obligations. Believe me, I understand how demanding college can be. Most everyone in MEGAFORCE is an adult with a job (some with pretty damned cool jobs like stuntman), some have families, but all of us know that you gotta take care of you before you can begin to take care of the avatar you've created for the game.

Don't let that scare you. It is actually an easy thing to do. The idea basically is to have some community involvement as opposed to logging in, playing by yourself for an hour, getting bored and quitting. Being involved in the gaming community not only enhances others game play experience, but your own as well!

Trust me, if I can do it with screaming babies (one being my boss!) so can you!

Thanks for all of the replies! I didn't think that anyone would respond.

I'm going to call my friends up and discuss with them what they want from a Super Team and I'll definitely toss them your Super Team names.

    Aftermath Forums
    http://copvp.freeforums.org/index.php

Going to keep this thread pretty cut and dry. Aftermath was started out of necessity during Closed Beta to get the players who loved PvP organized and playing together.

We are a tight knit group of about 30+ Champions who enjoy the PvP aspect of the game and are looking for more players who enjoy:
    -PvPing as a group
    -Using Ventrilo
    -Playing the Crowd Control/Healer/Offensive role
    -Talking strategy/builds
-Having a say on how the Super Group works

We are looking for people who are open minded, like to get their ideas out in the open and overall are here to enjoy Champions Online with like minded players. If you feel this fits you, give us a chance, check out the forums, hop in vent and have a chat with us or even jump in the ring and see how we work.
