Can your guild handle me?

So here is the skinny, I'm a hardcore MMO gamer, and a hardcore PvE/PvPer, and love me some crafter, usually when it comes to games I don't care about I pick a guild just to have some cool cats to BS with while I'm playing the game, but every once in awhile a game comes out that peaks my interest, as i'm sure you have guessed, CO is such a game.

So instead of searching through countless threads for a guild, I thought i'd mix it up and instead of applying for a guild, have a guild apply for me! (I'm not conceited I swear)

What I need in a guild:
PvE: I need a group of guys that can kick **** and take names when it comes to PvE, people that are well organized and now how to follow and give orders and obey them promptly and correctly, I hate healers who can't heal, and tanks that can't tank >.<

PvP: A need for PvP, but not an obsession, PvP is fun, and I love it, but bashing people's brains in 99.9% of the time i'm in game gets tiresome, and I love to craft and beat critters heads in as well.

Crafting: Definitely a crafter friendly guild that has it's own little community of crafters that share experiences and items to help the guild as a whole, I don't mind donating everything I craft to the guild, as long as it goes to help the guild and further ourselves.

Voice Client: Vent preferred, TS accepted, but I love chatting and meeting new people and getting to know fellow guild mates, so this is a 100% must, if it is enforced all the better!

Personal Website: I honestly couldn't care less, but a shiny website is always nice.

Now that you are all thinking WTF is this douche on? I'll tell you what I bring to the table:

-Over a decade of MMO experience, i've been playing Star Wars Galaxies since Beta 2, that is going on 7 years now, so suffice it to say I have commitment, especially after what that game has been through.

-Leadership- I have built from the ground up 100+ man groups, segmented into companies/platoons/squads, and managed it effectively for 3+ years. I don't have to be in leadership, but it is a quality I was born with.

-Strategy- I am very adept at analyzing a situation and figuring out the best course of action effectively, and promptly, I use this for both PvP and PvE, and it works very well in each, in SWG I used to be the main coordinator for the Imperials on 50 on 50 + fights.

-Maturity- I am a fun loving guy who likes to kick back and talk smack like the next guy, but I know when to tone it down and play serial like. But most of the time i'm just relaxed laid back and looking to have some fun. There is nothing I can't stand more than a 12 year old screaming in their mic though....#1 reason I never got into any Halo game online.

That about wraps it up, post here or PM me if you would like to consider me for your guild, I don't mind if I have to jump through hoops to join, the chase is 1/2 the fun! I'll also be on line for a good majority of the day starting in about 3.5 hours here. (Have to go get my Inglorious Basterds on) You can find me IG as The Overlord@TK4356

Thank you all for your time!

There are only like 10k posts in this forum with everyone who thinks they have stroke saying that they would be a perfect fit for you to join. Your post sounds like something I would have said. It's hard to have a voice in things here when a few thousand people are trying to bury your post in an explosion of self promotion of every bad concept SG with a horrible un-original, un-imaginative name there is. I believe the only way of making a successful SG is not self promotion and silly posts on a forum, but to actually play the game with people. It doesn't matter how your pretty name is, how brilliant your concept is, how nice your SG t-shirt is ,or your image on a forum. What matters is can you bring your game to a level where people are going to want to come back and play with you again.

While I do agree with you, I like to use all resources at my disposal, of course I will be looking for a SG in game that I play with and enjoy interacting with, but with the way CO is set up, and the multiple instances vs. multiple servers, it is going to be incredibly difficult to run into the same SG more than once.

you know I thought that multiple instances would be a problem, but it actually made it easier for us. we are always teaming being that the SK system lets the highest level sk the whole team. Not to mention that it makes finding friends a lot easier because it tells you what instance people on your friends list are in.

that link of his comes up broken to me, i was interested in seeing his site being that I like to compare my work to other peoples.

Hello there, you could come check out The Spartans if you are interested.

We are a historic group of fighters that believe in having fun in PVE and PVP.

We are a very loosely formed role playing group thats more interested in having a good time then having to stick to role playing guidelines.

Since we are Spartans from the Past, Present and Future its possible to be any kind of hero that you want to be.

We have members from teens to seniors, from singles people to couples, from students to non students who live in all different time zones from around the world.

We have our own website with forums and some type of teamspeak lined up for our members are interested in using it.

We also have been on the front page of the Superteam Section for months now so we are very easy to find.

Well, not all of us are hardcore, but we are hard-enough-core. Do you think you're MEGA enough for MEGAFORCE?

We're not RP. We're not a bunch of kids. What we are is MEGAFORCE: the MEGAest group in the known universe. We have crafters, Ventrilo, RL friends, game friends, and we know how to get the job done. We're arranging leveling buddies and master craftsmen. We're on it.

What we want from new recruits is simply that they BE MEGA. Don't gripe about people not being on during the day. We work! We also play for hours on end at night. We come from a variety of other games and have a variety of playing styles. We're in to be the most MEGA force out there, hence the name.

    Check us out at www.mfers.net

    BE MEGA!

    Aftermath Forums
    http://copvp.freeforums.org/index.php

Going to keep this thread pretty cut and dry. Aftermath was started out of necessity during Closed Beta to get the players who loved PvP organized and playing together.

We are a tight knit group of about 30+ Champions who enjoy the PvP aspect of the game and are looking for more players who enjoy:
    -PvPing as a group
    -Using Ventrilo
    -Playing the Crowd Control/Healer/Offensive role
    -Talking strategy/builds
-Having a say on how the Super Group works

We are looking for people who are open minded, like to get their ideas out in the open and overall are here to enjoy Champions Online with like minded players. If you feel this fits you, give us a chance, check out the forums, hop in vent and have a chat with us or even jump in the ring and see how we work.
