Shifter/were-animal Supergroups

Just putting out feelers to find out if there are any SG's in planning for people interested in rolling werewolves, panthers and other animals etc. I've seen one post regarding the Pack, but I was hoping to roll something other than a wolf so probably wouldn't fit there. I'm just looking to see if there are any plans for a more generic shapeshifter group, or if anyone would be interested in forming one?

I haven't been in either of the beta's so I don't know what options are going to be available but from other people's posts I'm guessing there's going to be some variety of species.

To be honest, varieties are rather limited. You can make a somewhat feline looking character but it's actually rather limiting; there are only so many fur skins you can mix and match. There's some sharkish looks you can do but as far as heads go, wolf is pretty much primary.

I have been asked repeatedly about letting in feline/something or other types in the Pack - and even though I was originally resistant to the idea (my character is not a patient man and I don't want the stereotypical "You're a dog so I don't have to listen to you" rp from a feline character causing tensions), I am not seeing a guild for folks that might want to play other shifter types...and I would like to offer a "Home" for those types rather than have them just give up out of frustration.

So have a play in the game, see what you can come up with and I also will have a think as to how to make it all work without too many tensions.

Now that the game is out, I'd like to resurrect this thread.

Playing around with the character creator, and from my experiences in game, I've seen that it's possible (for a clever creator-tinkerer) to make very detailed and convincing renditions of the following:

• Wolves
• Various Canines
• Foxes
• Domestic Cats
• Small Cats
• Big Cats
• Lizards
• Snakes
• Dragons
• Rats
• Birds
• Sharks
• Insects
• Simians

Now I imagine this will lead to a lot of different shapeshifters out there, as one could create a human-form to accompany any of these. I suppose what I'm after as opposed to anything else is a general, friendly group for therians and shifters. There are undoubtedly furry groups out there I could join, but that's not what I'm after.

If there's not such a group out there, I may just work to creating it myself in time. If anything it would be a casual grouup where RP is encouraged, but not enforced. Generally a laid-back hakuna matata grouuping where therians can enjoy likeminded company.
