The Free Guards are an RP friendly, PVP / PVE, casual player, socially oriented group. The main objective of the group is to support each other to become better heroes and players. In addition, we seek to provide a community which players can rely on to get maximum enjoyment out of the RPG. Whatever that means to you, we can accommodate it. There's something for everyone, role-playing, PVP events, PVE groups, etc.
As Founder of the superteam, I can provide members with the following benefits:
- A fully featured website, dedicated to everything group and game related.
- A multi-category message board for discussing all things related to CO, the group, PC and video games.
- Our own achievement system, to reward members for doing acts of good to benefit the group.
- Several positions you can fill to go above and beyond in your contribution to the group.
- A fanfiction section dedicated to writings about your hero and experiences in Champions Online
- A selection of browser based games to play in the unlikely event that you need a break from CO
- A non-hierarchical structure, where everyone's opinion counts and everyone gets a say in the running of the team.
About the Founder
I've played just about every major MMO to come out since EverQuest so I've got a lot of MMO and RPG related experience in general. I've lead and have been an officer in several groups in Guild Wars
I have plenty of time to run the team as I only have a weekend job to distract me from what's really important
I plan on playing in the open beta, as well as the early access program, I anticipate getting into this game and dedicating myself to it as early as possible. This is my best shot at starting it off with a guild of my own and seeing what happens.

For role players: If the kind of character(s) you have will impact the type of group you join, ours is especially (but no exclusively) for "anti-hero" types like Wolverine or the Punisher.
