Would anyone else like a communist based RP team? Or is anyone aware of an active one that I've failed to find using the search? I've got afair few ideas however the details and ins and outs of actually setting this up could be beyond me.
So I guess I'll try and set this up, banner signature thing is a ten minute banner I did.
For the group itself I like RP'ing but I don't see why it has to be a mandatory as long as people who arent will facilitate and respect the people who are. I definitely encourage it however.
As characters go I have to say that a bio/backstory is pretty much mandatory, it doesn't have to be an epic masterpiece, but make it as interesting as you can. All characters must have a bio that relates tot he group. So logically they muc support communism or relate to the back story below. I haven't decided if a uniform would be used, I'd guess no, but perhaps something that relates them to the group. golden star, hammer and sickles (if possible) etc.
History
In 1985 Russia was still in its "Cold war" tensions between America had risen and the threat of a real war was hanging overhead. it didn't help that all over America and in many places of the world Super powered individuals were becoming known to the public, fighting crime or working for their governments. America had the highest concentration of these mutants, aliens and so forth and it wasn't long until they formed groups and banded together. Not only was nuclear war threatening Russia but as it seemed America had its very own organised super powered army.
It was put to Russian scientists to find and create their own band of supers. They used technology stolen from the Nazi's during the second world war to attempt to create their own soldiers. A campaign to find those already within the USSR also began. It was years before the experiments yielded any results and it was just as difficult to locate and coerce the Supers themselves. By 1991 a small team had been formed. named after their very nation the U.S.S.R, the United Soviet Superhero reaction. The nations answer to Americas super heroes. But alas it was too late, the dissolution of the Soviet union had the group thrown away, becoming a legend. it was only years later that they re-emerged.
Millennium city was almost capitalism incarnate. When the USSR arrived they had grown, they gained support from various anarchist groups, Marxists and others. Their numbers had grown, some of the original team remained however. They despised how the heroes were worshipped how some placed themselves above society. yet in this world they had to have some leniency. They began to act as many of the heroes did. Against the criminals of the world who would see themselves as gods amongst mortals. But their justice was not held only for "Criminals" they took action against the giant corporations that mistreated those that worked for them, and against certain heroes who would do the same. it was these actions that have placed the USSR on the wrong side of the law. But it doesn't matter as their sense of justice is unwavering and they must keep the people safe without discrimination and judgment. In this small way they must keep the ideals of Communism alive within the city of filth and debauchery.

Signatures are limited to five lines of text, including blank lines, or an image that must be no larger than 500x150 pixels and 50Kb in size. Just wana help out and good luck with your guild seems nice you should make an omega red character. he is tight
Yeah I eventually got round to changing it, forget to see if there were rules regarding it.
I actually thought of this with him in mind, obviously less villainous though. I do kinda want to see if its doable to make an omega red like character though

That's the site for the group, currently being improved and such.
I hope that this could become a very social group, possibly strong in Rp'ing, or not, depending on who wants to join
