Time for another visit to the forums...
I've been lurking since around Christmas, partly because I was disappointed that my old PC was stopping me from getting a Beta invite. But after upgrading a month or two ago, and having spent three weeks back on CoH but with the graphics set way up instead of almost on minimum (and still getting considerably better performance), I finally decided to make my presence known again
By the by, although I enjoyed my time back in Paragon City, it still didn't really grab me - and most of the new stuff is pretty meh, including the mission creator which I was really excited about when it was first announced
For everyone except the ancient post hunters or memory freaks, I'm an old time Champions pen and paper player, having played at least some games under every version, although with the majority being 3rd edition games. I also played Fantasy and Cyber Hero, and the old Justice Inc pulp game - none of which are particularly relevant except to show that I was equally obsessive about Hero games as Glorantha; my other gaming passion
I have a few friends and acquaintances scattered around the site, and before I submerged to lurking depth, I was almost as strident in pursuit of animated hair as a certain GG. When I can have a character with a Ting Ting-esque ponytail, THEN I will be happy with the game!
