Something seriously needs to be done to address this now all-too-common issue. Seems like it's only getting worse lately and we can't seem to go 1 run without ape randomly rocketing into the sky, self-yeeting into the ocean, or just immediately behind the tanks, completely screwing up the positioning and flow of the encounter. Just this morning ape did this no less than twice in 1 pull. Maybe it's not as bad in the hours I'm not usually playing, or maybe it's even worse somehow then. Who knows but it's a glaring issue regardless.

    I'm going to say something really stupid here. In some ways I like the ape tport. Most of the time I am tanking at ape, and the fight is fairly dull, even for a single mid-skill level tank such as myself. When ape tports over my head to the cliff it screws with the hearts and then I have to reposition ape. That usually means swinging ape towards the dps and pulling him back up hill. Currently most of the dps don't clue to what is going on and lots of them die (which makes it easier, eventually to pull ape up hill ;) ). If tporting ape became the norm, the dps would quickly learn to get out of the way for a minute so that the tank can reposition ape. Might add a couple minutes to the fight, but it makes it marginally more interesting. Now, if ape were tporting 5x during a fight, that would be crazy! Of course, I'm not adverse to them fixing this weird tport, but I personally don't find it the end of the world.
