Empowered Dragon Staff not working properly

Previously when using the staff it used whatever one had selected for a melee weapon, which made it attractive for many builds. Now it only seems to use the Hi Pan sceptre. Can it be reverted back to how it previously functioned/looked? Norse thunder gods should not carry oriental staffs.

    Are you using the correct category?
    Only the Martial Arts Blades change the weapon skin of the Device! Not the Heavy Weapons (ironically)

    Tested it on 3 characters who use it with their weapon skins and it still works? Unless its a Brand New character issue!
