Melee?
He'll stand by your side using Bullet Ballet
Ranged?
He'll cover you with thundering kicks that generate extra agro
Tank?
He'll pull out the big guns with 2h Gatling to rain a stream of bullets into your target.
Hybrid?
He stands back and tosses Frag and Concussion grenades.
Support?
That chain can't be legal as he uses a Bladed Cyclone to keep all the enemies attention on him. +agro
Rank 1 will increase their stats by 20%
Rank 2 will further increase their stats by 20%
+new skill
If player health drops below 20% he will sacrifice himself to recover 50% of your Max health. (Summon skill will go on 30s cooldown.)
(Should this idea be turned into sidekick, New skill will transfer half the Supporter's current health to the Player 10s cooldown.)
