Some Powers using Cape/Mantle

Some Block Powers using the cape/mantle piece

Cape Block (Gadget)
Advantages
-Rubber Cape Your cape reflects a small part of the damage taken.
-Sonic vibration Your cape is reinforced with a material that causes vibrations taht can confuse/dazzle your enemies.

Cape Block (Mystic)
Advantages
-Ebony Cape Your cape is so dark that it might strike Fear on your opponents
-Glutton Cape Your cape absorbs part of the damage taken and heals you back

Cape Knockback (Gadget) You swing your cape and knock back enemies close by.
Advantages
-Metal edges Your cape has metal edges at the end, applies bleeding to knocked targets
-Poison gas Swinging your cape releases poisonous gas.

Cape Banish/threat wipe (Mystic) You dissappear in a cape swing in front of your enemies.
Advantages
-Magicians trick applies confuse/jinxed
-Drag me away Teleports you a distance back (similar to evasive manuevers)
I am aware that new powers and animations are not a priority, but capes have always been very present on CO as a superhero game.

    As much I would celebrate such, I have given up on new powers, they not even made any recent revamps too, especially those that need it so desperately, looking at Gadgeteering here. They rather focus on power replace rs now which is, in my eyes, the dumbest thing ever for me. Since it limits so many choices since those items are often rare, and also often bound to character. I would be already happy for more animation choices like the blast powers with palm, fist, chest, head options, but we can't have nice things at all.
