I only just noticed this; I'm not sure if it's just the tooltips not displaying correctly or if these gloves now aren't applying their bonuses correctly for whatever reason, but: equipping Slicer/Sniper gloves over something like matching +20+20 secondaries causes a
decrease in damage on tooltip that appears to also correspond to a decrease in damage on actual attacks, not just the tooltip. The bonus damage from these gloves stacking up to 5 stacks still remains and functions as normal, but there appears to be a baseline decrease when equipping them for whatever reason. On Live, I'll now provide three examples:
A melee DPS, build linked here:
Primary Off: Fortuitous Piercing (Gambler 5 / Str Enh 5 / Str Enh 5)
Primary Def: Fortuitous Health (Str Arm 5 / Str Arm 5 / Growth Am 5)
Primary Util: Fortuitous Speed (Str Enh 5 / Str Arm 5 /Impact Prism 5)
Secondary Off: Agile Belt (+20str/+20dex) VERSUS Slicer Gloves (Str+Dex Enh 5)
Secondary Def: Agile Bracers (+20str/+20dex)
Secondary Util: Agile Eyepiece (+20str/+20dex)
A ranged DPS, build linked here:
Primary Off: Qliphothic Precision (Gambler's 5, Int Enh 5, Int Enh 5)
Primary Def: Ameliorating Duster (Growth Am 5, Int Arm 5)
Primary Util: Fortuitous Speed (Int Enh 5, Int Arm 5, Impact Prism 5)
Secondary Off: Cunning Belt (+20int/+20dex) VERSUS Sniper Gloves (Int+Dex Enh 5)
Secondary Def: Cunning Bracers (+20int/+20dex)
Secondary Util: Cunning Eyepiece (+20int/+20dex)
A combo/Medusa DPS, build linked here:
Primary Off: Justice Precision (Dex Enh 7 / Dex Enh 7 / DUC / Gambler's 7)
Primary Def: Myrmidon's Duster (Growth Am 5 / Dex Arm 5)
Primary Util: Justice Speed (Dex Enh 7 / Dex Arm 7 / Veteran's Core / Ironclad's Willpower 7)
Secondary Off: Agile Belt (+20str/+20dex) VERSUS Medusa's Onslaught (Str+Dex Enh 5)
Secondary Def: Agile Bracers (+20str/+20dex)
Secondary Util: Agile Eyepiece (+20str/+20dex)
Note: apparently Onslaught Burst/Glove Effect isn't boosting Cleave in this at all, though when using Brilliant Cleave, it was benefiting from Onslaught Burst, although the base 5% passive bonus from Medusa's Onslaught wasn't applying to Brilliant Cleave either.
So, those three, I tested on Live. I don't have Gravitar or Grond Gloves on Live yet, so I'm testing the last two on the PTS instead, on a level 40 hybrid with no superstats, no specs, no gear except for each of the gloves with NO mods compared to a blank slot (the tiny Defense bonus won't skew the damage with no specs,) just one R3 Mach Speed (disabled during testing,) R1 Gunslinger EB for energy, R1 Burst Shot to proc Grond gloves, R1 Bullet Hail to proc Gravitar gloves, R1 Sigils of Ebon Weakness and R1 Sigils of Radiant Sanctuary not used at all for testing to unlock: lastly, R3 Circle of Arcane Power to have enough energy for the maintain with nothing else (including no superstats) supplementing it. Now seen below...
As seen here! On the PTS, Grond and Gravitar gloves are also bugged and not providing their base damage bonus. This issue affects both Live and the PTS, and affects both full built characters, and ones with zero stats, zero specs, zero gear outside of wearing the glitched gloves in question, no active toggleform, no active slotted passive, nada.
Now, I might misjudge things that are bugged when they're not, or think things are working normally only to be told later they're bugged, but this... definitely seems bugged to me!
When testing, be sure to equip JUST the gloves, so the bonus +10 Superstat from two, and +200 Offense from all three together doesn't trick you into thinking the base 5% on all of them is there when it actually really, really isn't. That threw me for a loop at first testing too until I realized "hey, wait, set bonuses are confusing me, aaaAAAGH-" and then took the pictures seen above properly.
I'd also be curious about if the other two gloves (Defender and Savior) are still working as intended or if they're bugged too, but I'm going to be brutally blunt: I've been awake 28 hours and I don't feel like testing them right now when they're more... under-the-hood and require other players than the offensive Onslaught gloves.
