Working on a Defender inspired toon named Protector. Going off the powers ive seen him use in the beginning missions this is what I came up with, any help is appreciated:

Power Conversion could be helpful here, but keep in mind that it gives a 10% penalty to base dmg and healing, so it's not preferable to use it unless you're still energy-starved when running 3 toggles. Chest Beam also doesn't seem to be adding much here, since it's not a slotted toggle and you already have the adv on Mini Gun for Burn Through. I'd prob also add an AD like Resurgence into the build (it won't be locked out by the toggles), while something like a R1 AO is more replaceable. You can also move a point from Find the Mark to The Best Defense in Guardian spec, since the toggles will be hitting rapidly. Also, Plasma Beam can still work as the Hand slot, but keep in mind that it has a 50ft limit and that you have to still manually aim it. Lastly, you may want to consider the special adv on Micro Muni if you want to trade some AoE dmg for more single-target dmg on it.
