Stay Off The Lava perk may be broken

I'm not sure if there's a trick to it or if the perk may be broken? It says you need to take a million burning damage in the Lava Temple to complete. I sat in the lava in the Lava Temple inside the MI volcano crater for a while and the perk still says 0/1,000,000.

Perhaps it refers to the PVP Lava Temple?
