For some reason the Brickbuster has an attack that completely ignores resistance, even while blocking.

Finally. It doesn't happen Every time. However sometimes a Brickbuster spawns who's Plasma Rifle just does more damage than it should.

14:40] Brickbuster deals 540 (419) Particle Damage to you with Plasma Rifle.

    Day 2. Nice fresh outlook with a good night's sleep.

    I finally noticed, the Brickbuster Gun MkII.

    It sucks away your armor applying a resistance debuff. The debuff stacks and refreshes all stacks of the debuff. Since the second stage drops 4 BB's at the same time I can get debuffed so much that IDF no longer works and if I am not blocking I take about 130-140% of the base damage.
    Blocking lets me resist about 50% of the incoming damage with no IDF to lower the damage at all.

    If the debuff is supposed to work like that then I am sorry for the false positive bug report.
