Can those be account wide instead of character?
I've stood on the sidelines for the Dev costume events because I wanted those all on 1 character without forking over tons of G, that I usually don't have, to constantly make new costumes.

Other than the costume contest winners, all others in the Theater receive a single Dev token at the completion of EACH Open Mission fight the Devs create afterwards. Usually, this is 3 or more per Theater zone.

So, I've learned to bring a character that is accumulating tokens. Finish the fight. Swap to another character accumulating tokens. Rinse and repeat. Sometimes the Devs stick around for a while and you can get over 5 total tokens for the night.

I think you can only get ONE Dev token per character for the event. I think you don't get another token if the same character participates in another Open Mission fight.

So, if they changed the tokens to ACCOUNT wide, you'd only get ONE Dev token total for the event and be less likely to stick around for further merriment.

Of course, they could just remove the limit if they go Account wide. Or set a limit of 5. Or ... you get the picture.​​

I'm with the OP on this one. Dev costume contests should not be a GRIND since getting more than the pity token is based on the subjective whim of the Devs (might as well just bring a lvl 6 character with the default costume). Given the rewards for most players, the contests are way too long (and boring). So yes, take pity on players and make the tokens account wide.​​

Instead of making tokens account wide, more of the unlocks should be. Like making the Frame emote unlock account wide when you have ten. More emotes or even a transformation specifically themed around costume transforming.
