Hello all I wanted to persevere the solutions from another thread into the proper form so here we are.thread.
As of this date, as a new function of Aura passives the power, the aura applied is not stacked now, but cycled between those that have the power and those that don't differently. The aura passive users don't get any cycle interruptions, as it seems, due to the investment of using the aura passive. However, everyone else has cycles that increase and decrease (all above the build individual levels mind you) as that new feature. This interrupts the normalcy that those who depend on it were used to, and seems to make them feel like their investments of time and resources are invalidated. So I purpose two solutions that were presented in that thread:
- Solution 1: Add a 1 point advantage to auras that removes aura projection but increases the investment to yourself and removes it to others in hybrid but increases the investment in others in Support. This is done by setting the range calculation of the aura to 0ft on the spreadsheet back end and enhancing the Presence scaling in support. If necessary or preferred, a removal of the individual auras from stacking with other aura passive stacks with this advantage as well (so Aura or Primal Majesty will not stack on another AoPM, if you have the advantage, for example).
- Solution 2: Remove broadcasting the aura entirely from Hybrid and lower the broadcast range in support. However, have Hybrid and other AopM passives increase the broadcast the range of the highest allocated one, like radio towers. This removes the stacking and cycling issues and allows all to be included, regardless of the players intended usage, and not at the detriment to any build that don't work well yet (as they are there for their individual investments).

Remove aura projection entirely from the aura support passives (AoPm, AoRP, and AoED)
that are not in support role and half the affect in support role ( example instead of 100stats, you project 50).
The projection mechanic is moved to one of the circle/rune powers as a 2 point advantage
with higher bonus (75%). The projection affect of the 75% would work with both support and hybrid roles.
However, the stacking affect of auras is removed while standing in the circle .
Just like the shield interactions with force's "rune" powers and also with Inertial Dampening Field that have you work for higher resistance interaction these powers, the aura passives would work the same way. While there would be a bonus of 75% above the base in support, The upped affect is countered by what you need to do to get it.: 1) being in support role, 2) needing to maintain the rune to buff by staying in it 3) needing to spec into the ability with advantage points.
This makes it so that if you want to give aura you can, even in hybrid and the rotational stat bouncing is lowered due to a standard 75% to 175% stat bonus. However the affect is now something needed to be applied and maintained actively. This creates higher tactical decisions that can be made in combat and clear bonus in investment goals.
