build to get the most DPS out of Power Cycle Device?

my strategy at the moment:
  • have a Single Blade build that maxes Relentless Pursuit's output (combo for Shredded)
  • use PC to convert all of RP's slashing into particle dmg +10% from Download
  • ideally have Disintegrate up too, but that would require a second combo power so I dropped it

Basically I'm wondering, can a pure Laser Sword build around this device do better? Since PC doesn't apply Radiation how would you unlock energy from it besides w/ Relentless?

    Well, you prob want Disintegrate and/or Burn Through to boost the Particle dmg of the device, so I may just go for a Tech_Laser Sword backbone. Burn Through can prob best be applied (and refreshed) w/ taps of Chest Beam, while Lightspeed Strike can be used to initially put up Disintegrate, and Lightwave Slash can be made to apply Download and refresh Disintegrate on tap. Applying or refreshing Disintegrate or Burn Through should also count for Unified Theory, and you could weave in those refreshes between every few channels of the device. Here's an example build:

    The last 2-3 powers can be w/e ya want. I kept Particle Wave mainly cause it can be useful to keep mobs grouped up in AoE.

    Could also go with STR/Dex/End for the SS setup (still Dex-focused). Brawler spec can also potentially boost dps here, and esp if you can take advantage of Flanking, though Wardicator is also fine. Cost discount rating on gear can also help when using Dex PSS.

    Another general option is to add in rolling 5x PBurn (can quickly be applied w/ LS's Ult), use Lightwave Slash to refresh PBurn instead of Download, and take a different source for Download (like the lunge, Glance, or Tether). For example:

    The rotation becomes a bit more convoluted this way, but it could still be managed.

    Thank you, these look solid. Burn Through is a nice addition too.

    Edit: After testing I noticed Disintegrate can also be applied with Particle wave -> Particle Smash, for those who wish to still keep a Relentles Pursuit build w/ Shredded.
    But that'd convolute the rotation even more so overall I have to agree with Flow that Laser Sword combo as a backbone would be the better option.
