About vehicles and their usage

Maybe its a little too late to mention this.
But the problem with the vehicles was that Champions Online was not made with such a thing in mind. They did not fit in the existing game.
First they were too powerful, then they were useless, notw they are just a device faster than most Travel powers.

If they wanted to make them work they had to treat em exactly like STO treats their spaceships.
what was needed was some sort of area or map Exclusively deisgned for the Vehicles, kind like STOs outer space.
Maybe something like a City Skyline with buildings or small zones/maps only accesible through having a vehicle.
Of course, with enemies exclusively desgined to be fought with the vehicles.
Expanding it to other zones having their respective Skyline section.
Or An Undergound section of sewers, ruins, abandoned underground traintracks and massive caves connecting maps in other forms.

(Of course while on the "normal" maps, vehicles remain working just as flashy Travel Powers)

This is a pointless post by now, but was thinking about that for a while.

    Hard to say. On the one hand the current devs seem not to like vehicles. That's the only reason to explain why they nerfed them so horribly instead of putting some real thought and effort into balancing them. On the other hand, they are desperate to come up with things to put in lockboxes, so maybe revisiting vehicles by making them useable other than as TPs and with the long sought customizable colors and with better mods and weapons "could" be a thing. Probably not, but you never know.
