Old Character Redux

It appears I have hardly done any work but what I have done is emptied anything I am open to change to, which is most of it, because this is a restrictive build. I am trying to make a more historically correct Onna Musha which I can do since I got Glaive which is close enough to a Naginata. I am also allowed to use a Bow. This character was Katana/Bow but with a Glaive I switched to Heavy Weapons. The heavy weapons powers are as close to Naginata techniques to me.

The only two convenient side effects that link the heavy weapons to the archery seems to be knockback so I have left in pulverizer. I'm probably interested in damage output and survivability at this point rather than what my travel powers will be so I am not asking for a complete fill. I am happy to complete it even with bit by bit advice. I need help I believe as I am just not game mechanically clued up XD. Thank you in advance.

How about something like this? If you feel tough enough, you could swap something else for Desperate Shot. If you don't need the self rez, maybe Mini Mines or Caltrops. Something for the mooks to charge into as they close with you. Or a Luncge, like Vicious Descent.

Hmm, so you want HW instead of SB? Alright, well I do think that keeping Torrent of Arrows is fine, since it can knock and serve as a long-ranged AoE opener, at least. I'd prob also get a different self-rez than Rebirth, so you don't have to deal w/ its self-dmg. Here's an example edit of it:

Outside of Torrent of Arrows, it mostly will be playing in melee. For single-targets, Eruption can initially put up CFlames, taps of Arc can apply/refresh No Quarter (and refresh CFlames), and Annihilate is your main attack. Your main melee AoEs are charged Arc of Ruin and Eruption. I also added Desperate Shot for more Archery rep, and to give you another self-heal. Gears mostly for Str, w/ some Rec and Con (could also help to get some cost discount on gear for Torrent of Arrows).

Thank you both, first I had to lock in theme (it's less magma based and probably self shooting in the foot game mechanically). Then I looked at both builds and then locked in what is common.

I completed most the build leaving the things I needed to test for certainty. Which is only the point at whats good in training room.

I got more than one Heavy Weapon so what has happened is what I couldn't conceptually apply to this character I went to the other with it and so both builds have paid off for me. It's been an interesting day!!

    Thanks.
