Skullcrusher can already Disorient at baseline, so I'd prob get rid of the Disorient advs on Defense Combo and Hyper Voice (they aren't really that great for them anyways). You could also get R3 in Skullcrusher for 5% more base dmg than Put them Down + Disorient, though it'll take an extra adv point (assuming you can get 3x Reckless for the other adv).

I'd also prob max Merciless in Vind spec (instead of Initiative), and I'd also change some of Str PSS's choices, since Quick Recovery is kinda weak, and you prob don't want to take Balance instead of Brutality and/or Overpower for dps. I'd also get 2/2 in Ruthless for Warden, and prob instead of Tenacious or Elusive. Chest Beam's Burn Through is an okay debuff for Skullcrusher, though No Quarter would be more effective for it's mix of Crushing and Fire. The build also lacks a block enhancer, which could be an issue in some content. Otherwise, the build is a bit of an odd mix of ranged and melee, and w/ some redundant AoE powers, but it could still work okay overall.

That version of the build could work fine, though FotTempest is more rng-based compared to Enrage for it. Since most of the attacks are AoE (including Skullcrusher), you'll also want to max Vind's Mass Destruction for it, and Chest Beam's Burn Through also doesn't qualify for Warden's Upper Hand.

Wow. Thanks, you two. Between this and Discord, I'm also considering an alternate build for a ranged version. Since it's DPS, shouldn't have to worry about Tanking like stuff being in the face and the like.

@flowcyto I'm head desking that I forgot a block enhancer. Will retool it soonish.

@rhymere#3035 Nice! And doesn't have to use imaginary weapons if you don't want. Pulling weapons from nowhere's practically built into the whole genre. Look at how many pull swords from various body parts or just pull them out of somewhere that should be improbable.

So an update here. I tried on Crushing Ruin and it is EXACTLY what I want for the whole "I pull sword out of no where and go finishing" type of thing. It also allowed to make it look like a punching robot and stick to minimal stuff. Not tested it yet, but would like thoughts. Unlike the previous it's more melee focused and I know it's lacking a lot of elements so far.

The one that doesn't seem to fit so far is Eye Beams, so I might be changing that one out? Energy Hog and all. It's a classic, but not really useful in this case. Force Blast might take it's place.

Yes. Why Eye Beam? It's a slotted PA power (i.e. can't be used at same time as Chest Beam and Rocket Punch) and relatively weak (works best when used in combination with PA shoulder and hand-slotted powers). You could just take a suitable power that has a head emmanation point instead (if this is a theme thing). Or maybe something like Particle Wave (knocks the mooks towards you)?

If you are not a tank, why Commanding Presence on Crushing Ruin?

If you are feeling confidant and skillful you could swap Con for Dex for more DPS.

For more DPS you could take Ruthless instead of Elusive and Brutality over Quick Recovery. Also, R3 on Uppercut since that is your main heavy hitter.

Perseus, Captain Arcane, Tectonic Knight, Pankration, Siberiad, Sekhmet, Black Seraph, Clockwork

And this is why I tossed it on the forums. Commanding Presence was an oops from previous Tanker mindset. Could be used, I guess, to keep things there for slicing and dicing.

As for the Eye Beams, anyone got suggestions on replacement? Force Blast comes to mind. I would really like something I can head base and call it an eye or head crest blast that can flavor into the knocks. If it's got a debuff, even better. If not, suggestions wide open there.

Gonna be poking in the mean time.

Eh, also not that confidant. Con's high HP and stuff has actually saved me a lot at times on my HW/Elec themed DPS.

    R3 on Uppercut, check.

Well, after the Force revamp, Force Blast can now apply Demolish w/ an adv, but it will be a ranged KB that could be annoying w/ the melee parts of your build (and ofc you can apply Demolish in other ways). FC is another option, but it is more expensive and also is a ranged KB. For the opposite (some pull-in utility), you could opt for TK Wave, if it fits the theme enough. It has a knock-in adv and some emanation options.

    I love you, man.

Editting in final build now. PTS tested.

Dropped Demolish itself for Mighty Lunge w/ Rampant for some defense. Small fry clearing has options, big boys you got Uppercut w/ Rampant to survive followed by Crushing Ruin when you get to 8 stacks and have it free. If you don't have aggro, add in Force Blast w/ adv for fun.

Listing the TK Wave as an option. FC's just... expensive as hell. Too expensive, I think.

Final build will be in shortly.

Unless it has been changed relatively recent, TK Wave emanation from Head anim STILL shows chest/hands. Otherwise, it would have been a good one.
