Mighty Yeets! ("Oops, All Throwing!"

For quite a while now I've been in love with Ricochet Throw and its unique ability for it to bounce around taking out a pack of mooks at a distance - so much so that I've built an entire character around the concept of only using abilities which look as if the character is throwing something!

I can't help but think I'm staring myself blind on this concept to make it better, however, so I'm going to ask for your help.
(For the record, I'm using the character primarily for grinding mobs and Alerts - meaning I'd like my initial strike to be as hard as possible: NW, Ricochet Throw and Throwing Blades are moves I'm practically married to, while everything else is up for change.)

How would you build-masters craft a character who only throws things? How Mighty would your Yeets be?
Thank you for your help in advance.

Well, Ricochet Throw is going to be mostly redundant w/ Throwing Blades, though I guess you could keep the latter for the ranged bleed and Sudden Strike (though the bleed has to fall off fully before Throwing Blades w/ adv can apply it again). It could also be nice to have a stronger attack for single-targets, but I'm not sure what would fit there, or if you really need it as much for the content that you'd do w/ the build (I suppose keeping Barbed Chain for Shredded can help w/ that, though keep in mind that it's flagged as melee and has a 25ft range limit). Sentinel spec/Mastery is also a bit of an odd choice; maybe just go w/ Vindicator for the general dps boost? Up to you if you want to keep Sentinel's healing instead, though. You also prob don't need Barbed Lariat for the Shredded refresh, since you'd have to fully charge it for that, and you could just use Barbed Chain again instead.

Here's how I may build a trash-sweeping build, mostly centered around Ricochet Throw w/ NW:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Ranged Damage)
    v3.45:38

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Ego (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Invincible (Con: 10, Int: 10, Ego: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Worldly (Ego: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 9: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 12: Academics (Int: 5, Ego: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Ascetic (Con: 5, Ego: 5)
Level 21: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Boomerang Toss
Level 1: Ricochet Throw (Rank 2, Microelectronic Controllers)
    Level 6: Concentration
Level 8: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)
    Level 11: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 14: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 17: Frag Grenade (Rank 2, Open Wound)
    Level 20: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 23: Antagonize (Rank 2)
Level 26: Sonic Device (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Toxic Nanites (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Mini Mines (Stim Pack)
    Level 35: Magician's Dust
    Level 38: Thundering Return
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
Level 6: Millennial Flight (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Mach Speed (Rank 2)

    Specializations
    Ego: Force of Will (2/2)
    Ego: Insight (3/3)
    Ego: Follow Through (3/3)
    Ego: Sixth Sense (2/3)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (3/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (2/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Ego Mastery (1/1)

Frag Grenade can't debuff for Slashing dmg, but it can help add some nice extra sustained dmg in the background (and help proc MSA), while fitting the theme of being a thrown power. Sonic Device and Toxic Nanites can add some extra dmg on top of RThrow uses. I added Mini Mines for another self-heal (and MSA proc), but you could change it out, if you want. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some Int and Con.

INT/Dex/Con (w/ an Int-focus) is another good SS setup here. You could also take an Int-focus with EGO/Int/Con, but switch to using 3/3 in Sixth Sense for Ego PSS.

It's been really helpful to see a different take on this idea! I've decided to go with this (variation on your suggestions) going forward. Thank you VERY much for your help!

Yea, that looks like a pretty good edit of my build overall. I prob would just take The Best Defense over Make It Count in Guardian, though (last I checked, MIC's dmg bonus to Blasts is on the DR, so it's not much). Hope the build works out well for you.

    Sorry for the Necrobump
I have been using this build on a character before the INT update
Now I notice there seem to be a new shared cooldown between Sonic Device & Toxic Nanites
Also, it seems that the Sonic Device explosion doesnt trigger in sometimes

Does this build still stand after the INT changes?

Int PSS can mostly work the same for dps after the updates, so if you were using it in your SS setup before then it should still work fine now. And yea the Gadgeteering revamp came w/ many changes to the powerset, and among them was having the On-Next-Hit powers trigger a shared cd. You can always change one of those two powers for something else that suits your fancy (perhaps another cd power, if using MSA as the EU).
