Single Blade Build

So a simple single blade build

Nothing much based on this build, just a another "Phantom" (But Male) build similar to the other one I made, I'd gone for power bolts, but I'd pef just a basic EB that is melee so I don't have to worry about Range/Melee mix up.


Dex/Con/Rec as my SSs and otherwise. Specs are as they are, but more points in Single DPS, then AoE, Ult is Dual Blade, as I do like this power better due to it's debuff. EU/Form picked correctly (I hope).


Particle Smash for that "Plam Blaster" type of thing (I can ditch the Stun/Knockdown or Heal, depending on what's best for R3 Resruge)

I think you're fine to keep both advs on Particle Smash, if you like them (since R3 of Resurgence is more likely to be over-healing anyways). Regardless, the build overall looks pretty good for SB. You could take NttG and/or the AoE Fear adv on Void Shift, maybe taking a rank from the block and/or the Ult for it, but it's up to you since the build can also work fine as is.

Hurm after testing it does seem that Reaper's Caress has a small AoE to it, but I think it's a cone based, not fully AoE.

Yea, RCaress (like many melee combos now) is also a frontal cleave. Even w/ that, it can still be nice to have a wider pbAoE like Scything Blade for an easier time mowing down trash, and Scything's Swallowtail adv is also good there (can also get its KD adv, if you want some AoE CC- in trade for less dmg from it).
