Horrors/Trey Kings default attack, Demonic Bolt, need to be TONED DOWN or removed from Hechman rank

5+ years of solo farming QWZ on multiple characters and my Obsession with doing those dailies Solo with as many builds as possible...
Just made it very obvious to me that Horrors are BUSTED! DPS, Healers, Tanks! All give me the same results! Way too overtuned
  • Worms are balanced because their Resistance debuffs are tied with their annoying summons! You can taking them down easily by strategize and defeating Sorcerers and Followers First to cut down the Defense passive and healing
  • Destroids are fair in most part, EXCEPT Annihilate-Bots energy drain disabling your block you reach Zero and dealing massive damage when this happens
    -Portal Engineers can be a serious threat because they hit hard when they get buffed by 2 Leader Drones on the same time but still manageable if you take them out first
  • Karkaradon are also horrible with their Knock + Stun spam but at least the majority of them only use melee attacks
  • But the Horrors? My god! Absolutely BUSTED with Demonic Bolt ALONE

There is no joke that Elixir of the Mind and Toxic Elixir are the only Buff consumables I use for this zone because some of my character's builds are simple unable to resist the damage!

All Horrors have access to the default attack Demonic Bolt. Their version of ranged Energy Builder!
50 Feet range. It's 3 parts animations, fire really fast and the 3-ditis damage damage is really noticeable

Hechmen who come in teams of 4-5 will eat you alive with this power alone and they don't even need Toxic Debuff to melt your defenses

Special Credits to the Ammo Ressuply for not only being so worst design and obnoxious mission with how fast the Horrors respawn, but also for completely melting the NPCs in seconds as they appear!

Either Tone the attack down or complete remove it from Henchmen and only available from Villain, Master Villain, Super Villain
Make Horror Hechmen only be able to attack you in melee range

Running out of Unique FF builds due to the lack of updates and synergies! Playing since 1 February 2011 128 + Characters (21 ATs, 107 FFs) ALTitis for Life!

    Speaking only for myself, I have always found a work around for all the QWZ mobs. I usually start out with OSV secondaries and something like Fortuitous gear with R4 mods and can solo them with all the builds I create. Some are trickier than others, especially those with knocks. I guess I find the substantiators with there triple mind worms the hardest. Thr horrors I just play cat and mouse with. I knock out a few, retreat, heal up, go back in and knock a few more out. Once all the little horrors are gone I don't find it all that hard to take out the brutes. The annihilators are only really a problem for me when I forget to block immediately after aggroing them to keep them from draining health and energy.

    By the time I have full JG/DG/VG with R7s none of the mobs is especially a threat because I have worked out how to defeat them in lesser gear, and the better stuff just makes it faster.

    So, speaking only for me, I wouldn't change a thing in the QWZ as it is the only fun endgame solo content we have. In fact, I wish we had more solo content at just that level.

    I'm on the same level as you, but it's because I really enjoy the QWZ solo difficulty content I want this to be balanced

    especially talking with friends who also agree that Horrors are too overturned

    I have completely ditched farming Alerts for years because they are no longer fun, they take forever to launch during early morning european hours, they constantly trap me in Loading screens and I do NOT want to deal with the Leechers scumbag

    QWZ and the Unknowable series have been my main source of farming resources

    The series tho... to a lesser degree because I'm not a fan of how it's design and how laggy MC can get during events, I can't stand to go back and forth between westside and downtown every day!

    I honestly wish we could get another remote access zone like QWZ with it's own set of endgame dailies and boss!
    I had a Lemurian City as an idea, NOT underwater but taking place inside a small City under a dome! 🐟
    Fitting for the Undersea adventure the series were building the past 3 years and jumped the shark with Totally-not-Megalodon-with-a-silly-aura 🦈

    Indeed outsmating the Horrors' AI is a legit strategy!

    I usually Kite the mobs to follow me behind a rock so I can take them down with AoE!
    But that doesn't mean I have to ignore how much more overpowered their default attack is compared to everything else in the zone
