Puppetmaster Perk?

Been trying to get this one for a long time. But can not seem to pin down what exactly the system considers a "pet" for the perk?
Summoned pets from mobs do not seem to count so far.

Anyone figured out what exactly the system does want defeated and where?

    I think sigils may count toward the pet perk. Not sure what other pets do. One way to get the perk would be to do an Onslaught Villain device and ask in chat for people to bring pets for you to kill.

    Nightmare invasion summons seem to count. It is about the only time seem to get any progress. No player pets count far as have tested.

    I got mine from Sigils! It takes a while but its stable

    Go to the Volcano Area/Lemuria Temples of Monster Island (Right of the MI entrance, right of the Manimal Village)

    There you are going to find Lemuria Sorcerers who summon periodically Sigils of Destruction around you!

    Be fast to destroy them with AOE before they explode!
