The last few powers can be w/e ya want (if you're planning on eventually unlocking Shadow Scheme, the new Darkness power currently on the PTS, then you're free to throw that in there as well, if desired).
For single-targets, the build uses charged SBlast to initially put up Devoid and Fear, while DCollapse can refresh both debuffs, and charged ERuin is your main filler attack. SEmbrace can be your main AoE attack, though DCollapse can also be thrown in then. You can also the get the stun/bleed adv on SBlast, if you want another CC option. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some Rec and Con.

Thank you for this. Im still kind of newish to CO, so the travel powers can be anything i like? Is there one that clicks with dakrness?
Yea, you can get any travel power (TP) that you want. I haven't unlocked many of the TPs myself to give you good visual advice there, but you could preview any that you have unlocked in the Public Test Server (PTS) and/or in-game Powerhouse (PH) before you commit to them. Regardless, imo it's usually a good idea to get one TP that's good for land travel, and one that grants some form of flying, and to also rank up the one that you use the most to rank 3, but you can approach it all however you like.
Teleport powers can be handy for quickly putting some distance between you and a bad situation. You can't fight while teleporting though. As Flow said, some good/fast ground travel power is nice in case you need to get out of a big target bubble. Flight powers are good for getting to those places that are just annoying to try to reach by Athletics/Mach Speed type powers. Tunneling is well nigh useless for actual travel. Super Leap is fun outdoor but not inside. Never played around much with swinging.
I've been playing with the thought myself a long time to try and make a cosmic-strength darkness dps
but i've looked through the entire tree and Darkness is missing a primary dps-power that pretty much
all other dps powersets has . The only power viable to provide dps is Shadowblast.
I'm also rather aggravated over how ignored this powerset is, because it's been in dire need
of a revamp for such a long time. Ebon Rift is a completely useless power that no one has
on their castbar because... it takes up 6 seconds of combat time and is so weak it's broken.
The other problem i see with Darkness as a dps is that the powerset is dependant on debuffing
it's target before casting dpspowers, but even with these debuffs, it doesn't really pay out
in terms of damage done when compared to other powersets that aren't as dependant on debuffing
and still do great damage.
