We all have so many of these type specific resits (fire resist, elemental resist, etc) mods, and I got curious what the actual performance difference of these mods were. The top case is with a minimalist character to just have defense vs resists. The bottom case is a con stacked juggernaut tank with passive, block, and R9 mods. In the case of cosmic battles with 2 damage types, using 1 of each resist mod is actually better than 1 R9 impact + brilliance or 2 R9 impacts... but the difference isn't by much once all the other sources of damage mitigation are added in. I suppose this is why most people don't bother with them.
