I've been sharing ideas for the current pet system for ... well almost since I started playing. The complaints pets gain are still around, except aura stealing since they fixed that, so I've been giving ideas. Most of them would have a point cost. Taking slots that would normally have a pet space in a pet user like myself. A single pet is useful in single player content but not effective. So I would share ideas to make them more effective.

Right now the only thing that works on pets are AoED, AoRP, AoAC, Medical Nanites, Inertial Dampening Field, and the summoner's SS.

There could be a Summoning Tree. Most the other pets into it, add a few more using stuff in game already. Instead of types of effects like ther other trees have you could have them listed as..

Sorcery
Elemental
Physical
Technology
Dark & Light

Then
Passive Buffs
These would work like energy builders but attach themselves to the pets you summon through skills. You could even have specific device passives like..

Infinite Sidekick
Sidekick timer would be removed, however cooldown would be tripled.

I could run around with anapa not doing anything but if I accidently clicked and despawned him... 15m wait time

Active Buffs
These would be buffs you cast that would increase the pet viability. Hell you could even have an Ultimate for them that would let each summoned, by skill, pet use an already made ultimate.
I mean the Munition bots would be perfect for Fire All Weapons.

I personally would only have a few, doggy, pets I would buff all to hell just to watch them kick ****... Of course if some of the new pets added we puppers then all bets are off.
