Energy (and earth) shields

I like the Inertial Dampening Field toggle. It makes it's way into a lot of my free-form builds. The thing is, flavor-wise, it doesn't always fit.
So how about some shields for the different energy projector sets, along with a few others like earth (you could have an orbit of rocks and or crystal shards/slabs around the character) and magic.
A straight reskin would be fine but it'd be even cooler if there were different advantages and synergies to each one.
