What role is this intended for? I'd hope it's for Support in group content (and not bringing a weak Hybrid aura to high-end stuff), but then you prob want at least an ally res (and possibly a self-res). For example:

Ego Sleep could also be a good investment here. Gears mostly for Pres, w/ some Con.

If you wanted it to be more like a Hybrid-dps, then I may just make it more of a proper ranged dps build by using the Ranged DPS role and an offensive passive like Ego Form (and prob trading Sentry for Guardian or Overseer spec, and maybe keeping Sentinel for Wither and the Mastery). Would also use a dps toggle/form like Mental Precision (Dex focus) or Shadow Manifestation (Pres focus) then. You can still provide some minor support and CC in that case, but the build wouldn't be committed to either pursuit.

Probably don't want Rebirth for the self res since it slowly kills you.

Eh, he could get a different one, but Supports can have tons of self-healing potential to counteract the dmg. If he went for the dps route, then I'd either not get a self-res power, or grab a different one.
