Missions that still exist to "Go To Desert Disaster" or "Go To Canada Crisis" are either outdated or need to be connected to the quest system.
New players given these quests may find NEW things to do but much of the "First Impressions" missions are no longer in use (or are easy to miss if they still exist). It's a good idea to go in and make the quest lines work in progression.
The more easily the player is directed where to go next and what to do the less they will feel lost or that they must be doing it wrong leaving them to ask for help (if they have the conviction and courage .. which often new player do not engender to CO)
