I've heard that the electricity powerset benefits from using endurance as a PSS. I'm looking for something different, so would anyone mind giving an example of a DPS build with this kind of setup? Please and thank you
It's not really all that different than other types of Elec builds- you mainly just take Power Source as the toggle/form and stack End, and you can use End PSS's Outburst for a dps increase that way. Here's an example build:
What is the effectiveness (DPS - wise) vs an INT build. Just tried to swap my lvl 33 END over to INT and had energy trouble. Also: end game... which has better traction. I can't tell if the energy problems with INT will be offset or not.
Edit: I swapped REC with CON, so putting that back made things good there. Still wondering about DPS @ end game.
I don't know, you'd have to parse it in those situations to be certain. But yeah, Int PSS becomes quite stronger vs targets w/ high dmgRes, due to Detect Vulnerability. Conversely, if a target has low-no innate dmgRes, then DVuln doesn't do that much, since it can't take resistances below 0%.
It's about 26% lower on avg against the cosmic mobs, and about 14% less on avg on destroyer/QWZ mobs due to their new, wonky, rollercoaster resist calc.
Thanks @nbkxs. My light reading has indicated such. Everything melts @ lvl 33 and I don't think I'm keeping my energy above 90%, so I think I'll switch.

Oh, you've tested the two setups before? Alright then, good to know some rough numbers for comparison. If you don't mind me asking, though, how much Int_End were you using? Just trying to get a reference here.
Alright, thanks for the info. DVuln apparently can get upto around -50% resist w/ about 600 Int, which is pretty wild, so I guess those kind of results aren't too surprising.

To be fair, energy management can become quite better as you get better gear, either way, and DVuln won't do as much vs. basic trash mobs. But yeah, making the switch is def a good idea for the high-end.
I love my End primary Lightning DPS. with Hardended giving you HP, and Readiness boosting your equilibrium, you are in good shape on both HP and Energy. I don't have it in herocreator currently, but tried to build it from memory.
Close range DPS. For Aoe, sparkstorm and storm summoner (which applies superconductor) and ball lightning to refresh. For SIngle target, use Terak Generator to apply supercharged, Lightning arc, with sparkstorm running, and ball lightning to refresh. Sometimes I use the dragon staff as an opener for initial damage burst.
During NI, I park myself over the portal and wipe anything that appears.
Can usually come in near the top at cosmics. (a DUC would help)
Coruscating might mod does wonders with all the maintains.
I used to use almost this exact setup in the past, because of all the goodies that you get for it that revolve around surviving. But then I decided that the DPS penalty wasn't worth it in the end, and changed things around.

I think my final build will look like this: Ellie Mental
Not efficient for dps all the way, but thematic. Too bad Electric <> Elemental, or this would be a much better build!
