A small buff to Gadgeteering - add a resistance debuff that's actually usable

So, most frameworks that've been reworked more recently have one or more powers or advantages that debuff resistance to the damage types the framework does. Munitions has Armor Piercing, Heavy Weapons has No Quarter, etc. Gadgeteering, however, has no such effect as far as I can find. The one such advantage it does have is on Sonic Boom Generator, which debuffs resistance to sonic damage.
Would it be completely out of line to change the Sonic Suppression Enhancer advantage that does that debuff to affect both sonic and particle damage? It'd make the effect much more useful, since only that one power in Gadgeteering actually does sonic damage while a large portion of the rest of the set does particle damage. Maybe add the same advantage to Sonic Device as well, so people have options that don't require taking one specific power.
