Dead Pirate Robert: Fear, Guns and Cutlasses - Arrrr, matey!

jaazaniah1jaazaniah1 Posts: 5,431 Arc User
I started this guy a year ago but got side-tracked on other builds. However, since International Talk Like a Pirate Day is coming on Sept 19 (will the Devs seize the moment and have a costume contest?) it seemed like a time to revisit him.

I am trying to mix Darkness, Munitions and Blades to create a ghost pirate (NIght Warrior is finally thematic!). The backbone is blades, with Darkness and Munitions providing utility powers. Besides general suggestions, I am looking for a thematic and useful last power. No Ricochet Blades though. Could go the easy route and take a self rez or Imbue, but maybe there is something else I am missing?

A self-rez for a melee dps makes sense... or an active offense like Lock'n'Load?

Wait, International Talk Like A Pirate Day is a thing? Well, I won't complain.

It's too bad we don't have a power that sends in a canonnball barrage, or something. Kinda like Strafe Run, but not as tech-y. You could take EotS (or SEmbrace w/ heal adv) if you want an attack that allows you to play defensively, or maybe get a fast bleed refresh to go w/ Vorpal Blade. Summon Shadows is also an option, if thematic enough. Otherwise, there's the normal general options like an AO, self-res, ally res, On-Next Hit power, Nanobot Swarm, a CC/stun, a threat wipe, etc.

It even has it's own wiki page, so it must be a real thing; )

I haven't used any pets on a build in forever, so I think I'll slot in Shadows for that last power for the moment.

It would be nice to have that cannon that the ghost pirates use in Lemuria. Let's add it in and call it Broadside! ;)
