The Vine Build

The Vine is a plant based character. I was thinking of water attacks, and the closest powerset is Force. Instead of using shields. I will be using Force Blast, and Force Cascade, as the main attacks. I'm gonna throw in Whirlpool. What would be the best innate to take? Force Geyser might be fun here. If you can think of a better powerset to go with Plants, let me know. I wouldn't consider Force to be very.. uh, plant-like, lol. But water-like? Sure, it could be. I dunno if you still want to try to tie in some 'plant' powers, but maybe throw in SEmbrace as a vine-like attack that can be a cheaper AoE alternative to FC. You prob don't want a slotted passive that's an energy form when using FC anyways, since FC will disable it on use. Here's an example build:

The last few slots can be used for w/e ya want (maybe throw in a chain power like Infernal SN's Vile Lariat or Crip Coils- w/ heal advs, for a 'vine' attack, and/or take Grasping Shadows w/ advs, etc.)

Alternates between FBlast and FC for single-target dps, and using Power Conversion to help w/ energy. You can AoE either w/ FC or w/ SEmbrace- the latter will deal much less dmg, but is much cheaper and can also heal you w/ it's draining adv. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some Con and End/Rec.

cool, perhaps I should try something different than force, I've used it a few times now. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I'll let you know how the build unfolds

Sure thing. If you want more of a 'vine' theme, then you could prob consider a mix of some Infernal SN and Darkness powers, but I'll leave the brainstorming phase up to you for now.
