"Necromancer" build

Greeting forums, this is a summoner/dps that relies on a few summons and devices to simulate the necromantic powers.
The powers are fire colored purple, I like their aesthetics more than toxic damage.

Now on to the questions:

1) CoAP: I opted for it instead of a energy unlock, but it seems a bit underwhelming.

2) Survivability in solo content is really low. Would it make sense to embrace it fully, drop CON and add... INT or possibly EGO for more dps?

And most importantly:
3) Is it better R3 Relentless Assault or R3 Preemtive Strike? Or, to phrase it better, does Preemtive Strike apply to the full maintain of Incinerate?

I really like the idea (probably more than the real efficacy) of stacking the buffs from Fire Strike + Burninator + Preemptive Strike all on Incinerate.
But I am not sure if it works well!

Preemptive Strike will only add its bonus to the first tick of a maintain, so it's not a great option for that. Firestrike is already not that great of a dps power anyways, though. R1 Immolation is also not doing much here, and can prob be dropped.

I dunno; it depends on your playstyle and what your goals are for the character. Adding Int or Ego SS isn't going to be a large dps boost here, though, as you already have Dex SS'd, and Pres is what scales up your toggle here.

But you said that your survival in solo content is very low atm? That build looks pretty survivable for a dps unit, since it has Con SS, Pres' Force of Will, and lotsa bonus healing for strong Convictions. It is missing an AD, though, and Avenger + Commander don't offer defense boosts for you. I guess one other big aspect is that you lack your own AoE attack, and something like SEmbrace w/ the heal adv can be really good self-healing vs trash. You could also get the heal adv on Summon Shadows, perhaps. Could also consider Sentinel and/or Sentry spec, though that will prob lower your dps. Ranking up the block could also help, potentially.

While it is a universal method of energy gain (w/ no special proc conditions), CoAP is immobile and must be cast. I would usually just take a normal EU over it, but it's up to you (I guess SReverb is the easiest fit here, assuming you keep DCollapse up). You already have to stand in a circle for the Ebon ritual, though, if you don't take the Unbound adv for it.

Gah too bad for point 3... I suspected it was so.

Then I will go with the current configuration and take 3/3 on Relentless, and maybe add rymefire....
