magical pose transformation didnt work

I purchased a q store magical pose transformation for one of my characters, used it and "you recieved magical pose transformation". i logged completely out of game to desktop like you are supposed to so they take effect. logged back in to the same char and its not there. the emote that comes with it unlocked properly, but not the transformation itself. i attempted to log numerous times to no effect. i looked at the item in the q store to see if there is a step i missed. the q store says that item is "not useable" which is a flag that means ive already used one. please help.

    If your current build is invalid, new costume transforms you've unlocked will not display until that's been corrected.

    A quick check is to see if you have a blinking red power icon on your minimap, or go into the powerhouse and see if you have a prompt to reset your powers.​​
