Muni Tank Build

Since new muni threat mods are dropping from the High Noon event and are one of the few things to buy from the event store, I thought it was time to take a "shot" at a munitions/pistol based tank build. Hard to really pump up the defenses and HPs on an Ego PSS build, but it just feels wrong to use Str as PSS for a gun build, and so the Guardian + Warden set up. Hopefully this will be enough to grab aggro and survive. Hoping that Moonstruck and Antagonize will help mitigate the lack of Str for KB.

I usually just go for Con PSS if Str PSS is too cumbersome to work in for a ranged build. Ego PSS is still fine if you can get around the knock resist issue, though. It will somewhat depend on that content you want to do overall, as Juggernaut is still dominant at adding dmgRes.

The build looks pretty good for general use. I assume Lead Tempest w/o Challenge is there just for the easy AoE dps?

Close the Gap adv doesn't play well with Cosmic or anything that is a giant kaiju since the distance between you and the mid center of the boss' hitbox is more than 10'. Get R3 as your last adv point spending.

Ah. I vaguely remembered that close the gap had a bug, but couldn't remember what it was. Thanks!

I wish Lead Tempest had Challenge. I wonder why it doesn't.

I'll be content if I can handle Kiga and Ape solo and can baby tank at dino. Probably won't be able to solo tank dino herself.

Ah yea, LT doesn't have Challenge available; sorry I forgot about that. But you have other means of AoE Challenge anyways, so it's prob not a big deal here, either way.

Thanks for mentioning that Close the Gap bug. I was thinking of changing to that adv on my PFF tank, The Gun-isher.​​
