Jet pack travel power w. flight animations

I've been looking for a flight travel power with the Jet Pack mechanics but the usual flight animations. The main reason is that using jet pack with no jet pack costume piece looks a bit strange when stopping (looks as if someone pulls hard on a harness to make you stop) making certain turns.

As for 'why not use flight', it's because it is so slow in comparison.

Could such a power be implemented? Preferably without glows, fanfares and similar.
