Amazing Proton (Techie Science Combatant)

A while back I had a character with the Flight Platform who used to blast things with sciency guns and molecular technology. This is one of the builds I lost with my last computer. Is there anyone with a cool Sciency Build that can solo a good portion of the Story Mode in the game? I'm not really into giant monsters or things like that. I like doing all the missions for every map in the game, even if I'm well above the level requirement.

I'll do stuff like Alerts with people who are pretty tanky and know what they're doing, but I don't try to solo them or sign up for things like Kigatilik. Maybe one day I'll look into Endgame builds, but for now, I could use something that can get me from level 1 to 40 with little hassle.

The open power slot can be used for w/e ya want, as the core of the build is already covered.

PBR is a cheap and easy ranged attack to use for single-target dps. Taps of Chest Beam can proc Unified Theory and put up a debuff to boost PBR's dmg. For AoE, you can clump mobs up w/ Particle Wave (which also procs Unified Theory), and then follow up w/ Sonic Boom Gen as your main filler AoE (Chest Beam also has a narrow cylinder AoE, though be mindful of its knockback when charged). Gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and End (or Dex, if your energy is fine overall).
