It wasn't the light in Finland that bothered me, but the snow. I tell people that there are two seasons in Finland: snow and no-snow. No-snow lasts two weeks. And because everyone lives in snow all the time, throwing snowballs is a survival trait. Finns can throw snowballs around corners and make them explode in ice water when they hit. It's like nothing you can even imagine.
That picture is false.
They didn't have spears or axes. Bows or shields. They fought bare handed against wolfs and rabid penguins. On their way to kindergarten.
