SB bleed build

nafeariannafearian Posts: 48 Arc User
Looking to revamp a few old hybrid characters to be more functional in endgame content. Haven't tried a bleed build before but this is what I've come up with so far:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Any / Multiple)
v3.41:33

Super Stats
Level 6: Strength (Primary)
Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
Level 15: Recovery (Secondary)

Talents
Level 1: The Predator (Str: 10, Dex: 10, Con: 8, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Martial Focus (Str: 5, Dex: 5)
Level 15: Martial Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Ego: 3, Rec: 3)
Level 18: Mighty (Str: 8)
Level 21: Agile (Dex: 8)

Powers
Level 1: Reaper's Touch
Level 1: Reaper's Caress (Rank 2, Cleaving Strikes)
Level 6: Way of the Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 8: Dragon's Bite (Rank 2, Cull the Weak)
Level 11: Scything Blade (Swallowtail Cut, Messy)
Level 14: Form of the Tempest
Level 17: Reaper's Embrace (Rank 2, No Mercy)
Level 20: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Guard
Level 26: Intensity (Rank 2)
Level 29: Steadfast
Level 32: Bountiful Chi Resurgence (Rank 2, Resurgent Reiki)
Level 35: Masterful Dodge (Rank 2)
Level 38: Vorpal Blade (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Adv. Points: 36/36

Travel Powers
Level 6:
Level 35:

Specializations
Strength: Swole (2/3)
Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
Strength: Brutality (2/2)
Strength: Overpower (3/3)
Brawler: The Glory of Battle (3/3)
Brawler: Penetrating Strikes (2/2)
Brawler: Ruthless (2/2)
Brawler: Setup (2/2)
Brawler: Offensive Expertise (1/2)
Warden: Slaughter (3/3)
Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
Warden: Elusive (2/2)
Warden: Upper Hand (3/3)
Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Devices

I feel like there's probably room for a fair bit of improvement here - seems a bit power heavy atm. Tried this out in PH with aurum set and having some energy issues atm (which will probably go away when I can stack some cost discount/stack more strength for Physical Peak). Was tempted to try out the Brawler mastery but it doesn't seem to specify the % increase in dmg after lunge so went with the safe route of Strength mastery. Having trouble stacking up bleed quickly without spamming RC for ages which isn't ideal - also not sure if the swallowtail cut is a bit redundant here and if RNK 3 RE would be better than taking the No Mercy advantage.

Any help here would be appreciated!

Charged DBite w/ Rush can help w/ any energy issues you may have, esp outside of groups when you're not getting stuff like AoPM or AoAC. FotS can also be a bit more reliable for SB builds than FotT. I prioritized ranking the block, since this build is a bit glassy as is. You can go back to the BCR/RR + MD setup if you want, though you'll have BCR's dmg penalty when it's used. The open power slot can be w/e ya want (like a self res, or a threat wipe, or R1 Intensity, or a stun, etc). Gears mostly for Dex here.
