Nanite-themed Infernal Supernatural/Tech Pets build

I've been trying to find a power framework combo for a gadgety pet/support build. I've just gotten tired of leveling energy blaster characters. I think I've settled on using Infernal Supernatural and Medical Nanites for mostly-passive healing.

My worries with this build are that I'm not sure that Venomous Breath (with Paralytic Bile) is consistent enough for Sentinel Mastery to trigger from late-game. Do I need another cc power? I know Condemn with Redemption Denied and Corrupting Force advantages would be great, but I'm trying to avoid it as I'm wanting to stick with Infernal powers that look like nanites are swarming from my character to attack his enemies. Any ideas as to what would make this stronger without breaking his theme?

I've played this build up to level 17 so far, and it's been a lot of fun.

Well, Hybrid builds aren't going to be as good as pure Supports for healing, but I suppose it'll depend on what content you want to do with it (I assume it's not stuff that's unfriendly to pets in general). Regardless, if you plan on healing w/ LE often, then Supernatural Power may be an easier EU to use w/ it. You'd prob also want Compassion as the toggle instead then, and gear more for Pres, but I'm not sure how committed you want to be to healing or support in general. I'd prob also put ranking Muni Bots as a lower priority (or maybe just replace them or the Attack Toys w/ another heal for support), and perhaps skip Force Sheath if you don't really need the extra energy.

I'm not sure if it captures enough of the theme, but here's a more healer-oriented version of it:

    Level 15: Finesse (Dex: 5, Pre: 5)
    Level 18: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
    Level 21: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)

Level 1: Infernal Blast (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Venomous Breath (Rank 2, Paralytic Bile)
Level 8: Medical Nanites (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Supernatural Power
    Level 14: Compassion
Level 17: Life Essence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 20: Iniquity (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 23: Conviction (Reverence)
Level 26: Support Drones (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Energy Shield (Rank 2)
Level 32: Attack Toys (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Resurrection Serum (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Rebirth
    Adv. Points: 36/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6: Lightspeed (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Hoverboard

    Specializations
    Presence: Repurpose (3/3)
    Presence: Selfless Ally (2/2)
    Presence: Moment of Glory (3/3)
    Presence: Force of Will (2/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (2/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Moment of Need (2/3)
    Sentinel: Wither (2/2)
    Sentinel: Genesis (1/2)
    Commander: Evasive Action (1/2)
    Commander: Rapid Response (2/2)
    Commander: Create An Opening (2/2)
    Commander: Multitasker (3/3)
    Commander: Durable (1/3)
    Commander: Relief (1/3)
    Mastery: Sentinel Mastery (1/1)

Still has Iniquity as a tank heal and a regular ally heal if there's no targets around and/or the ally is too far away for LE. Conviction can help proc Compassion w/o worrying about targeting. Can still use Venom Breath offensively and for procing Sent Mastery & Wither. Its ally res is on a cd, but I suppose that can be worked around.

    Thanks so much, flowcyto!

I solo a lot, so I'm trying to make a compromise build that allows me to easily solo and team. I have been playing him in hybrid mode while doing missions, then switching to a support role build when I do alerts. (I'm still only level 23.) I had wanted to use Compassion as my toggle initially, but switched it once I realized it almost never stacks when I solo because I usually get by with Medical Nanites for healing. (I've not tried Compassion with Healing Drones, but I'm willing to bet that they don't trigger it.)

I'm not a huge fan of Supernatural Power, but I can see that it could be more effective than Aspect of the Infernal when focusing on healing. I'll switch it out and see how it goes.

I'm shocked how easy the Infernal powers make the game. My mostly Gadgeteering pet master toon would have had a much harder time using the gadget pistol with the same content.

Yea Infernal tends to make for easy grinding, since it can have wide AoE and automatic energy management w/ Supernatural Power.

As for triggering Compassion, it'll be harder now that passive auras don't proc it. You could change out Conviction for BCR or ERush, and the long-duration HoT can potentially proc Compassion multiple times per use in combat, assuming you get hit some. Or you could just keep hitting Conviction when taking dmg and it's off cd. A healing rune could also potentially work for that. It's up to you how to handle it.
