I have a toon that I just got to level 40. He is a being made entirely out of blood. So every ability consists of him conjuring up blood from his own body. This is the setup I have right now.

I would really like some help with this. He's not bad as far as survivability goes but I would like him to be more survivable. The damage output is pretty good. If there is a way for him to hit harder that would be great. I basically want him to be an off tank (not a full tank). Also remember that every ability is supposed to look like blood if colored red. I would really like to replace Quicksand with something else. It's a good ability but it just doesn't look like blood when colored red. I would like to keep Whirlpool and Soul Vortex if possible. They look fantastic colored red. Everything else can be replaced. Just remember survivability first, damage second. Also has to be good on energy. Thank you all in advance.

Should still be quite survivable. If anything, it prob goes overboard on the healing options (DE, LE, Conviction, ERush, Resurgence, Soul Vortex), but it's up to you how much you want to devote to that aspect. You could perhaps drop a healing-related power to add Wisp w/ advs to debuff and boost your (Toxic) dmg (the Guide adv could add some minor healing back in anyways). Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and enough End & Rec for relatively smooth energy.
