Hello, today i bought my first FF slot and i want to try a new character from zero(i have a soldiar and a blade at) and i want to build a character that is kind of a ninja but at the same time i dont want the same gameplay as the blade at, so im looking for some ideas on pve builds for a dual wield, a lazer sword or a martial arts, or at least someone can tell the major difference on the gameplay between these powersets?
Tbh the only things i think im sure i want in my build are the smokebomb lunge and maybe night warrior , so i can get the stealth ability.
Sorry if the text is a little confusing and thanks in advance.
Ah im updating with an image so you can figure what type of character im trying to achieve:

Single Blade is prob the most fitting since it's anims look pretty agile. Dual Blade has a similar look, but you'd have to be okay w/ your character dual wielding then. Laser Sword could fit too, though it's anims are a bit more weighty and less flashy.

Since you don't want a general SB build, I guess that I can give you a DB one w/ NW, and you can see if its style is up your alley:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.34:32

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Master (Str: 8, Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
Level 9: Martial Focus (Str: 5, Dex: 5)
    Level 12: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Boomerang Toss
Level 1: Blade Tempest (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)
Level 8: Form of the Tempest
    Level 11: Steadfast
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Eye of the Storm (Rank 2, Blade Beyond the Veil)
Level 20: Dragon's Wrath (Tiger's Courage, Dragon Rush)
Level 23: Smoke Bomb Lunge (Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Parry (Rank 2)
    Level 32: Intensity (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Smoke Bomb (Concussive Escape)
    Level 38: Fiery Embrace
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (1/3)
    Strength: Overpower (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Slaughter (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Blade Tempest can be your basic melee cleave attack that also puts up Shredded, DW can be your main heavy-hitter against single-targets, and EotS can be used as a pbAoE and/or for turtling up (the damage shield ramps up while the damage itself ramps down, so cancel and refresh it early if you want more damage from it, or fully channel it to max the shield for defense). Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Str.

I'd prob get the Onslaught slicer gloves for melee, but both sets are pretty good overall. It may depend a bit on your luck or which you can find easier to farm.
